An equalising goal in the 96th minute saved Croydon's blushes and secured a draw in a continuation of their poor run. Recent results have not been good as they have had successive draws against Kingstonian and previous defeats against Staines Town and Maidstone United. It means that they have sacrificed their good position and now lie 4pts behind Leatherhead with just 1 games in hand.
Going behind 2-0 early in the second half following a mistake by the Matt Way go gift them a second. But they came back into it following a penalty that was confidently converted and then Matt restored his otherwise good performance by getting the equaliser. Dropping behind again it looked like they were destined for another defeat but Danny Dudley popped up in a melee of players to grab the late goal.
