6 goals but it could have been double that in an exciting 2nd string game that allowed a few players to stake a claim for a run out in the senior side. 3-0 up at half time had put the game beyond doubt against the team that are top of the division. However, Croydon had missed 2 or 3 excellent chances as they surged forward strongly. In the second half it was a more even game and Northwood got their reward late on with 2 goals that made the outcome less than certain for a few minutes. Jordan Kiffen, who has some first team games under his belt, broke the offside trap and slid the ball home to make it safe with just a few minutes to go. A thoroughly good game.
