After a great win during the week at Leatherhead there was renewed hope that the Rams could build on that win against a mid-table Sittingbourne team. The game was played in midfield and offered few chances and even less to talk about.
Croydon welcomed back Danny Waldren after a 2 match ban but still had 'Ginge', Gareth Graham, banned for the match. The Sittingbourne 'keeper made one supurb save from an 18-yard volley but the only goal came from a break down the right and cross that was turned in off the post. Not much to write about on a bitterly cold day!
