A little bit of scouting...

Whyteleafe 4 v 2 Whitstable Town
Ryman League Division One South - Church Road. Att: 157
Saturday, 3rd November 2007

Another blank Saturday for Croydon Athletic due to cup matches left open the opportunity to see their next opponents. Whitstable Town were promoted from Kent League last season and their start has been somewhat mixed.

The game started slowly with neither side looking particularly safe but also neither side looking able to take advantage. A moment of quality, however, broke the deadlock and 'Leafe took the lead. It was a goal that opened up the game. The home side went further ahead but Whitstable pulled one back before the inteval. The visitors never looked able to stop 'Leafe scoring although they kept pressing on and could look dangerous at times.

Croydon manager, Jerry Scola, was at the game casting an eye their next opponents.
