What did they have in their tea...

Whyteleafe 2 v 0 Croydon Athletic
Ryman League Division One South - Church Road. Att: 142
Saturday, 8th September 2007

A disappointing performances overall but one or two key players were missing and it probably showed. The first half was pretty even with few clear cut chances although Whyteleafe nearly put through their own net and Moses Ademola nearly scored when he beat 'keeper to the ball but couldn't control it and it was cleared.

Croydon seemed to be slow to get underway in second half and before you knew it they were 2-0 down. They rallied a little afterwards and had a couple of chances making the 'keeper pull off a couple of good saves. Moses played out wide and I don't feel this is his best position and he doesn't seem to enjoy it, perhaps as he is not involved enough. He came inside and got more involved later on in game although, unfortunately, he was sent off toward the end after a challenge the referee regarded as reckless, seemed a little harsh from my distance. He will be missed during his ban.
